AZERI APPOINTED BY AHMADINEJAD

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad apointed an Iranian Azeri as a special representative to the president. This representative, of no political history, is Mohammed Mohammedi, is to act as a liaison to the president.

Commentators have called this move as a signal to Turkey that the President of Iran is committed to protecting the rights of Azeri Turks in Iran through his liaison.
