BEIJING - The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) held an emergency meeting discussing the situation in Syria. NATO has shown strong interests in imposing a no-fly zone in Syria in order to ease the situation. It is reported that NATO countries are still working towards in establishing the possibility of a no-fly zone. It is disclosed that a decision will be made soon.

During the meeting, the Norway representative offered the possibility of maneuvering Norwegian troops, if the no-fly zone were to fail for whatever reason. Other representatives have not yet vocalized any concrete follow-up plans in regards to the situation.
