The Syrian government has reported the
temporary loss of control of a chemical weapons facility. They believe the
weapons have fallen into rebel hands but currently have no information
regarding the location of the weapons. This recent development will cause great
anxiety in the international community that the weapons will fall into Islamic
extremist hands. A source in the British Foreign Office believes there is particular
concern given the proximity of the weapons facility to the Lebanese border.
