Press Statement from the Islamic Republic of Iran

The Islamic Republic of Iran continues to stand in solidarity with our Turkish neighbors to the west, and is maintaining its firm stance advocating for the immediate release of those being held hostage by the Zionist State. Iran calls on all nations whose citizens are being detained-- Turkey, France, Italy, Netherlands, United Kingdom, and the United States, to work in collaboration on humanitarian grounds to free these aid workers.

Iran further calls on the international community to demand independent humanitarian groups, such as the International Red Cross and Red Crescent, to meet with those being held hostage to ensure that their safety and well-being is maintained. These demands cannot be made unless the international community works to pressure Israel.
