Turkey is deeply offended by Israel’s actions against our citizens, and we are deeply hurt by Israel’s betrayal of us by murdering and abducting several Turkish and other foreign civilians who are seeking to aid the people of Gaza. We affirm our commitment to the Palestinian cause, and I hope to soon visit Gaza to re-affirm my support of the Palestinian people.
In addition, we condemn Iran and Hezbollah’s support for the brutal regime of Bashar al-Assad. We condemn their support for a regime that is murdering thousands of innocent people. The time will soon come when the dictatorship of Bashar al-Assad will fall, and we will again pray in Damascus and visit the shrine of Sultan Saladin al-Ayyubi!
We condemn all acts of terrorism, whether committed by Zionist terrorists or Hezbollah.
