We, the Islamic Republic of Iran, demand that Israel release all captured hostages from today’s illegal seizure of the Turkish humanitarian aid vessel from their custody. Failure to release the hostages to their home governments will be viewed as continued acts of aggression. Regardless of nationality, this is viewed by the government of Iran as a humanitarian issue and must be met with condemnation by the international community! The Islamic Republic of Iran calls for all nations, especially those that had citizens killed or held hostage-- Turkey, France, and the United States, to condemn the illegal actions of Israel.
